Portofino & Monaco
After a quick couple days of hiking spritz’s, we continued our spontaneous journey through Europe. Tonights destination will be Eze, in the South of France, but we couldn’t resist the urge to be proper tourists. A quick walk around Portofino was absolutely stunning and left me dreaming of sailing into one of the several anchorages, dropping the hook, and living there for at least a couple weeks. Then it was off to Monaco.
Monaco had us both baffled. Not quite as beautiful as we were expecting but the experience was something else. The F1 Monaco was scheduled to race shortly so the entire area was gearing up for the show. The track was getting set up, the Ferraris were plentiful, and the harbor was filling up with some of the most grandiose yachts I’ve ever seen. It was a fun experience but have to say Monaco didn’t make the list of places we were drawn to spend more time in.
